Brad Thomas

Greetings! My name is Brad Thomas and I am the Executive Director of the Edmonds CC Foundation where we support student success, access, and excellence by providing scholarships, innovation grants, awards, and emergency funds. | 425.640.1884

We transform student lives by securing support (time, talent, and treasure) from individuals, companies, and foundations. The Foundation's staff team supports a Board of Directors with community members and volunteer committees all of which support student success and educational excellence both at Edmonds Community College and throughout the community. In addition, we assist loyal donors and community members to leave a legacy to Edmonds CC via their estate plans.

I was born and raised in Olympia, WA where I swam competitively and played water polo plus other sports. I have a daughter who plays lacrosse plus a son who is a college student majoring in International Business in LA. I enjoy doing triathalons, hiking, volunteering, camping, eating out, going to movies, and taking road trips.

Andrea PotterI am Andrea Dolan Potter and I am the Director of Development for the Edmonds CC Foundation | 425.640.1512

Identifying/developing resources for the college and fundraising through meaningful connections with a wide variety of fundors, public and private. The Foundation supports student achievement at EdCC through scholarships, emergency funds, departmental support, and assistance for degree completion.

I am originally from Bremerton and was exiled in Wisconsin for 28 years (graduate school can do that to a person). Since the Seahawks are now a stronger team than the Packers, it seemed like a good idea to return home. I taught social democracy and supervised student travel courses at a small, private liberal arts college in the Midwest for almost 20 years, and spent the last 8 years working for The Progressive magazine, a 107 year old publication dedicated to social justice, racial equity and peace. I play the celtic harp, enjoy civic advocacy, and like overseas travel.

Elaine HallI am Elaine Hall and I am the Event Planner and Community Outreach Specialist for both the Edmonds CC Foundation and the college. | 425.640.1514

I plan fundraising, networking, and outreach events for both the Foundation and the college. I am passionate about providing all individuals access to higher education and lifelong learning opportunities.

I am a Washington native who currently lives in Arlington with my husband and two kids. I am an avid gardener, love camping and fishing with my family, and am an active volunteer with the Stilly Valley Little League.

Marcia BennisonI am the Finance and Administrative Manager for the Edmonds CC Foundation. | 425.640.1149

I take care of the financial aspects of the foundation, which include depositing checks, paying bills, and keeping track of all financial information to create reports. Also, I participate in all Foundation events and work with the Board on two commitees. Once a year, I prepare reports for our auditors to create audited financial statements and IRS Form 990.

Outside of the office, I enjoy movies especially those at the Seattle International Film Festival and building with Legos. I also enjoy reading, traveling, the Seahawks, and politics. I live in North Seattle with two cats.

Michelle CimaroliCiao! My name is Michelle Cimaroli and I am the Program and Operations Coordinator for Edmonds CC Foundation. | 425.640.1707

If you are looking for information about Foundation scholarships, staff and faculty grants, and staff and faculty awards, I am the gal to talk to. In addition to scholarships, grants and awards, I manage the Foundation's database and support special events.

I spent the first 13 years of my life in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. At 13, I moved from the wonderful tropical climate to the frigid winter/hot and muggy summer climate of Chicago, Il. I stayed there for 10 years before coming out to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In my spare time I love gardening, reading, and doing home improvement projects.
